Hello

I was wondering if anyone has had any expereince with deluxe campers
(www.deluxecamper.com.au), preferably the Bedigo outlet. They seem
very similar to the TrakShak, just a bit cheaper.

I have searched this and other forums and only found very few references to them. (only one on this forum). Any information from people who own one or maybe considered one but went down the TrakShak path instead, would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Cam

Hey there Cammo, i have had no actual experience with the deluxe company, although i did look into them when i was buying my Trak Shak, i can't say too much, but they are very similar for a reason, and a lot cheaper because frankly, they are not as good a product, at the Caulfield Camping Show they were unlucky enough to be set up next to each other, and the difference was like chalk and cheese. if you want any more info feel free to ask, I won't steer you in any direction simply because I own a Trak Shak tho, just becaue It's the right camper for me doesn't mean it is for you...altho, they are bloody good

Couldn't agree more with the chalk & cheese comment earlier.

You know I did the research last year and was prepared to spend upward of $12,000. TrakShak are good but I discovered a small company near Knox in Melb.

I've been on here before after my recent trip which included the Gibb River Road and told the world how happy I was with my well under $10k purchase.

In my view many camper manufacturers are taking advantage of srong demand and putting excessive mark ups on their trailers. Get on to Tambo ( they advertise on exploroz I think) as their prices are very good and no problems with quality.

Cheers Col.
