Just a query out there , what are the various options everyone has used for mattresses in their rooftop tents?

I have the ARB Kakadu RTT, I use the mattress that was originally supplied plus a Tontine Foam mattress on top.

Very comfortable.

Hi Brian,
We have no-name brand rooftop. After a while we found we could feel the floor through the mattress that came with it (might have something to do with being a no-name!). We went to Clark's Rubber and had a two part mattress made up. The lower 3/4 is a firmer mattress material and the top 1/4 is an egg shell mattress. Clarks joined it together. Love it. Had for for around four years.

regards
Garth

I had an Open Sky and now the Maggi. Put a self inflator on top of the foam matress and never had a bad nights sleep. The original foam matress is a tad thin.

We have a 2inch high density foam mattress. Not a problem as we both like firm bases to sleep on
