Camper Trailer Struts/ Actuators Part 2

Hi Folks

Posted the other day re a mates trailer and how he is putting a heavier load on top, hence was going to need more lift, we were thinking more powerful struts.
This is of course going to create issues when the load (boat) isn't being carried and also when the load has been taken off, having then to try to compress the struts.
So we are interested to hear about your thoughts of using 12v Actuators instead.
Anyone had any experience with these?
In Darwin, so services are limited.............

not sure airbags would be the go. Could always try this Goon Sack instead I suppose.................
