Just a quick line to inform the followers of my threads re: the ultralight caravan, that I recently built.
I left messages via the internet with 5 companies. two responded being Youi and CIL. CIL were my preferred insurer.
As I have only 12 volt power no certification for power was needed. 4 photos of the exterior and two of the interior were sent as was all details. A online valuation was obtained and presto.

Valuation was from www.caravanvaluations.com.au as suggested by CIL. Just fill in the questions on the website and add pics.
Valuation was $22,000. I'm very happy with that and wanted over $18,000.
We would dread an accident because from what I've seen there isn't much choice out in the retail world for a small van with
toilet and shower and weighing tare of only 450kg. If I made vans for a living I'd make them all with a bathroom.
