Hi Everyone, I have just bought a 2nd hand Outback Swan Camper Trailer and would like to fit a roll out awning. does anyone have experience with this and if so how do they handle windy conditions and where is a good place to buy in the
Perth area?
thanks in advance, Tom

Any awnign becomes a parasailign device in windy conditions -had my arb cariant fly at
cable beach just with a puff of wind let alone the upto 50kmph gusts currently getting at
geraldton.
biggest issue is its a wind up and a result anything you fit needs to be unrolled or rolled up when roof is low in transit mode otherwise you won't be able to roll it up with roof raised - unless your prepared to carry at least 2 ladders and 2 people tp roll it up when roof is raised -speak from personal experience with folks windup "like jayco but not a jayco custom design"
better option if needed get a portable oztrail shelter sand bag it down
well and use this instead and carry it on roof of camper when not needed -but needs to be removed when raising roof
