I would like to hire a GPS unit with charger and computer interface cable(s). I know Landwide do this but are there any others in the
Sydney region?

On this trip I will be away for about 8-10 days from Sunday, 21 July. The Landwide unit will cost about $115 for this time.

Unless you only want it for a very short time, it may be worth buying one.
You can pickup a Garmin Etrex and data/power cable for under $400.

Peter,
I agree that unless you only do 1 trip hiring is almost to expensive to be an option. You can get MLR unit with cigarette lighter/computer lead and vehicle mounting kit for $420. Its a great unit to use with inbuilt user guide.
