Hello there!
New member here...we travelled around Australia in 2001. We are planning a road trip with 12yo and 9yo soon. Our vague plan at the moment is to head from Mornington, Vic to
Alice Springs via
Flinders Ranges.
We're enjoying seeing what others on here have found interesting/useful/helpful.

Some
places of historical interest on the way.
-Confluence of the Murray and Darling Rivers in
Wentworth.
-the old Gaol there
-The old Ghan engine and cameleers hut in Maree
If you look up the history and background of these
places they are more interesting
Then look up the
oodnadatta track
-Haligan Bay
-
Farina
.

Awesome, thanks Tony. We ware definitely going to include
Farina. We loved it last time. I hope the awesome donkey shower is still there!
A couple of the
places you mentioned are new to us to so we're keen to have a look. Thanks
Edited because emojis don't work :(
