I'm on
Maralinga's email list and just got an email about this...see screenshots below. Hopefully more details will be forthcoming, but this sounds like a positive development.
At the moment, I'm having trouble accessing their booking site, but here's the link:

Hi Candace
That was talked about at the
Ooldea 100th Anniversary back in October.
Like I have mentioned many times here on the
forum, there is no way you can take it all in in just 1 day and even if it could be extended beyond 2 days would be even better.
Cheers
Stephen

Good to know, was toying with the idea of a tour enroute to Conne Sue in June this coming year for WA trip.
One thing that concerned me was a thread recently here . . .
Maralinga confusion
The website booking page doesn't load for me either, so can't
check current day or new two day prices.

Thanks Candice, a good read, though can't reply there.
As Phil G said over there on the other thread, the Volkes
Hill road looks interesting on the Hema map, a few sights and LB plaques to stop at.
Obviously some permit to gather if it is still allowed to travel either from
Cook or via
Oak Valley.
Some serious route planning happening early in the new year, looking at SA / WA coastal drive to Cocklebiddy then up as an option, so we will see what majority of group would like to do.
Some still express an interest in the M<aralinga tour, and if Robin is doing them, then I might be in on it too.

You cant travel to
Oak Valley unless you have paid for the tour. Travel on the Emu track is absolutely forbidden now. And I'm not paying $220 a head to visit
Maralinga, Ever.

The booking site is now working. And I just booked a 2-Day Tour that starts on 10 May.
Will I see any of you there? :)
