Hi,
Looking to buy a 200 or 250W folding panel to take care of our 120A AGM battery.
There's a bundle of flea bay sites selling 'Saronic' panels, which are supposed to be the highly rated, yet despite asking, none have come back to confirm they are in fact saronic cell panels, which obviously is a little concerning.
So has anyone purchased any panels recently and got what they were expecting in terms of output etc etc, and if so where from ?
Thanks in advance,
Mike

I bought a 200w panel, not folding, from Bit Deals too, Mike, a couple of years ago. Fitted it to the roof of our alloy canopy and haven't had any dramas that I'm aware of.
Cost about $205, and as I recall had it in hand within 7-10 days, to Western Qld. Would recommend them, as do many others.

Couple of years ago bought a 200w. folding panel from ebay seller "sunyee-au"
$205.00, fast and free delivery.
I removed the panel controller and cable, connected the 2 panels in series to provide a 44v. output with a longer, heavier cable to a Victron 75/15 mppt controller located closer to the batteries being charged.
In full sun the measured input to the batteries is 11-13 amps at up to 14.1v.at which point the system goes into float.
Very happy with the performance of the panel setup.
