Would anyone have any contact details for Planet Downs Outstation. I would like if possible to leave my van there for a day trip to Haddons Corner. Thanks

Outstation aren't always manned. They are outstations not the main
homestead. You could daytrip from
Birdsville

If you spell HADDON correctly and do a search you will find several previous threads. One is thread 102914. As said in it you could leave your van near the first dune.
We and others on a tag along towed the vans all the way in. Not much at the corner so you won't be there for a long time.

Last time we went there you wouldn't have towed a caravan over two of the dunes.

Brad & Jenny,
I travelled up that road, from
Innamincka to
Winton, in Nov. 2015, and did the detour into the Corner. You could have parked the 'van in the middle of the main road without any dramas. Didn't see a single vehicle all day!
The 'van would be okay if you took it in a kilometre or two, and parked it on a clear, grass free spot.

Agree Bob, not many shenanigans out that way, but still throw a hitch lock of some sort on it.
It is only a short run in, / out, and not much there apart from the marker and shelter, maybe a nice lunch stop.

Yeah, my thoughts too, Les.
Probably more risk from other travellers than the locals. Like, it's some
grey nomads that pinch
toilet paper from the roadside
toilets!
