For general road information try on this site (look for the tab at the top of the page)under "on the road' "road conditions" is updated each week. Transport SA have a web site that give daily updates of road conditions. Sorry dont have the web address. or you could try the NRMA who have a 1300 No.

Where are you coming from? The road from Adelaide/Lyndhurst/Moomba/ Innamincka is closed. 25mm of rain at Lyndhurst. Light traffic only is comming out of Moomba this morning as there was rain last night. If comming through Qld the roads are open through Jackson/Ballera/Nappamerie as well as Noccundra/Epsilon H.S. road. Some rain also in the last week from the Corner down to Broken Hill but traffic is still getting to the corner etc. Sun is out today and roads should dry out very quickly.

No rain in Innamincka last night but from here we could see terrific storms , obviously becaue it dropped 25 mils on Lyndhurst and Moomba 1 ml. No rain here only glorious weather. Haven't had a fish report from Innamincka in ages - but the yabbies still running here - Ian got a bucketful for bait today - and then lent some young fellows one of our pots so they could have entree tonight.

Thanks for everyones responses. I was told by a friend who got back from innamincka on saturaday that the best fishing is at burke and wills bridge. They also told me that the a lots of yabbies over at Thargaminga
