National Gathering events.

Afternoon all,

I am attending the Gathering at Kilcowera in a week or so. I, along with other attendees, want to raise as much money for drought assistance as possible during the Gathering so there will be raffles every day (correct me if I’m wrong Sir Kev) and other events to entertain us. One of these events is playing the noble game of horseshoes.

I started off at a National Gathering at Innamincka 10 years ago. I took my horseshoes along and we played in the sand and dirt on the banks of Cooper Creek. I am bringing the horseshoes to Kilcowera so bring your gold coins and small notes and lets raise dust and $.

To “encourage” players to greater efforts to get the elusive “Ringer”, I need the services of a “Heckler”. Someone who can tell a player “ Did you get that one caught in ya skirt ya big girl” or similar and not be concerned for his/her safety at a later time. No references are required - a helmet might be LOL.
