Hi Pete’s& Ann
We have stayed at
Bonus Downs station and found the hosts excellent, facilities great and would love to find the time to head back there. Just be aware that if towing the road from
Mitchell can take a little longer than expected.

We visited
Wallaroo Outback Retreat October last year and found it great. The hosts were lovely with excellent facilities and Glamping tents. It's in the same
sandstone belt as
Carnarvon Gorge with some pretty dramatic features together with a lot of history. It is a working cattle station as
well which we found very interesting. Ecotours are also available via Boobook Ecotours in
Roma.
No caravans or individual camping as available at
Bonus Downs though.
Cheers
Allan
