An uplifting story.
Mogo Zoo animal rescue
Mogo Wildlife Park is a wonderful privately owned zoo on the South Coast of NSW. The park has the largest collection of primates in Australia as
well as many other exotic species including meerkats, white lions and snow leopards.
Mogo Wildlife Park
The park reopens tomorrow, 1st March 2020
Cheers,
John

Great to see...used to live just down the road and wife worked at Old Mogo Town.
Great part of the world.

It certainly is a great part of the world. Initially visited in 2008 to pick up an Ultimate camper trailer from the factory in Moruya. Lots of great camping in the area. A particular favourite has been Beachcomber Holiday Park at Potato Point. Not only beautiful but visited by an enormous amount of wildlife.

I’m not a zoo type, or so I thought until a hung out with a snow leopard there last July. Strangely enough it was freezing cold and raining. So glad there is some good news out of that part of the country.

It is the best zoo I have ever been to. In my opinion it beats Dubbo zoo hands down.
Pity about the fire destruction in Mogo.
