We called in there back in 2015 and there was about 20 mothers with calf's in the bay, one with an albino baby.

Spent about 3 hours just watching them in their native environment, absolutely amazing and one of the most memorable things I have ever encountered.

I can not see any reason why one year would be any different to another so just get out there and do it.

There's a camping spot on the road in, just before the gate (which is locked overnight).
I'm glad I ain't too scared to be lazy

Or you can find a secluded spot on a side road going north from the highway.

I might do a quick dash from Victoria, across SA and have a look at the whales. Any chance?

I hear a few have changed lanes at the check points and driven through, or driven around other ways, though it might be the go. Stephen may be ready to intercept me I suspect. Whale watching may be a recognized excuse. Not sure what Mr Marshall would say.

You could always complete your two week's quarantine at Stephen's place on the way through:-)

George, I can only presume you are fishing for a bite which is sort of funny. If you are serious then you really can stay where you are and suggest the exploroz admin notify police of your intentions.

Submit your SA entry permit application to Stephen L, and see how you go.
