Hi,

Does any one know of any company that make Camper Trailers with a good kitchen set up for under $10,000.

I look forward to hearing from you experienced travelers. I'm getting desperate as we are on a tight budget and want a good one.

Sure do.

http://www.simonheardcanvas.com.au/

Their offroad CT's start at about $6000. Mine , with a few extras cost $7500 12mths ago.

You can get a kitchen unit from Simon, Buy a Drifta Kitchen to fit , or build you own like I have. (got piccies if you are interested.)

I quess that is a better idea, most of the campers under ten have crappy kitchens. i just want a confortable one as we'll be travelling for over two years. and we only have a small budget as we need spending money.

Bloody Nice kitchen there Baz . . .

Here's a link to my CT piccies.

http://www.4wdlinks.com.au/gallery/album30

You will find piccies of the CT , including under construction , camping , and Kitchen piccies.

Also have a look here for kitchens.

http://www.drifta.com.au/

They aren't cheap , but they are very very good.

Quite a number of CT builders use these, rather then build their own.

Kriso,
I know you can get them within your budget from Tambo Campers. Just follow David's advice and check this site.
I prefer a basic set-up, but I know they have them cos my mate got one.

I live in Shepparton and I am not that impressed with Simon Heards canvas work.

I am sure that I have already posted this, but I have a Southern Cross Canvas Camper, they have a distributor in Shepparton and are manufactured in Melbourne. Mine doesn't have a kitchen, but SCC will supply one, all for less than $10k. A great camper, made by a quality canvas maker.

Kriso, we have recently purchased a camper trailer from Tambo Campers in Wantirna Melbourne. Cost under $9000 with heaps of extras. (electric brakes, full kitchen, three jerry can holders , toolbox, full stone protection) Have had it away twice now and cannot fault it at all. They advertise on this site but their website does not give a lot of information. Are you in Melbourne? If you email me your telephone number I am happy to ring and discuss it with you. We researched for two years before buying. They are fantasic people to deal with and were spot on with their delivery dates etc. I couldn't be happier.

Email to macandjen23@bigpond.com if you want to talk further.
