A few years ago at one of the 4wd shows I saw a folding
toilet. This had 4 metal sides with piano hinge on each corner and two opposing sides also had piano hinge in the middle. this allowed the two sides to fols inwards, thus bringing the other 2 sides together and the whole thin then became flat.
There was also a wooden top with a standard tiolet
seat fitted and on the underside of the wooden top was a routed slot which allowed the metal shape when expanded to sit inside, therefor given some sort of rigidity to the whole thing when erected.
Can anyone tell me where i can buy one of these.

A 10litre plastic paint tin, plastic garbage bag, old 13inch car tube or wheelbarrow tube, some lime and a small piece of masonite and a stone to put on top. ethod......Fit garbag in paint container....put deflated tube on containers edge....sit down.....crap in container.....drop a handfull of lime in......put masonite over container......put
rock on top. Costs nuthing. After breaking

Hey Willem
Have you had a liver
test lately? Your paint is not the normal color a person should have.... Will have to remind the kids to wash their hands after touching your duco - could catch some E coli or something nasty....

We bought a folding chair (like a camping chair) it has a whole in the top & you attach a plastic bag. Works
well, just have to make sure if you are weight challenged that you use it on flat ground as they can break easily.
it folds very flat, and is cheap, quite comfy for an outback throne.

One of my large mates borrowed
mine and bent the legs. Fixed this by using a camping chair of same design, removed the canvas
seat and clipped on the
toilet seat. Very strong!!
Cheers

Cruiser,
Try Camping World ? (Thunder Box?)
Our club has one and someone has added 2 short planks to the kit with grooves to match base which gives it a solid foundation on which to place box and avoids anyone falling in.

Our loo (Calvert Crapper see post 14019) was 3 x 20L drums for 10 people for 6 days.
Worked well - not reuseable though.
