Does anyone else have a problem logging on automatically when using Edge as your web browser ?
I have the "remember me" box ticked but still have to logon every time I open the Exploroz web site.

Hi George,

Edge is not my default browser, but I have loged onto EO with it some time ago and it remembers, so I don't have to log on again.

Cheers

Clearing the browser cache and cookies often helps.

Many of us don't use Edge and thus reduce our exposure to Micro$oft. There are plenty of good browsers out there that get you out of the clutches of Google and M$. Try this list - 10 Best Google Chrome Alternatives You Should Use - but ignore No. 6.

Check browser to see if you have never save memory for the site, go to settings, profiles, passwords though interestingly when I check mine I don't find any entry for EXPLORoZ.

The other aspect is the site probably works off your IP address so if your behind a firewall it might not be seeing it.

Others with more knowledge will no doubt jump in once someone, probably me, makes a flawed statement so that they can heap the bull manure on them:)

At they point they might add some relevant info.

I have used Microsoft Edge for the past 12 months or so and never had a problem logging in automatically every day.

Ah the 'ole Edge ignore cookie issue has risen its ugly head again.
There is a stupid option when you first install Edge that apparently asks you if you want it to remember site logins - and if you tick the wrong box you're stuffed - it won't ever remember your logins.
I don't know how you fix it once you've ticked the wrong thing however. Maybe you have to uninstall it?
I just tried to find the answer for you on the Microsoft help webpage so try this - otherwise I cannot help sorry its not our doing. Enabling Cookies in Edge

Don't really know about Edge, but generally, the auto-logon issue and saved passwords are different things.
Auto-logon usually uses a cookie, so Michele's advice seems right.
Saved passwords saves you from having to remember the username and password if you have cleared cookies and history from your browser and have to log in again.
