Hi, we are travelling in a week from
Sydney,
Warrumbungle National Park,
Cobar,
Broken Hill,
Mungo National Park and across the bottom of NSW back to
Sydney. Hiring a camper (hi ace Van) and travelling with 2 kids. Wondering if you would currently avoid any of these
places due to mouse plague and ideas of what sort of level measures need to be taken to stop them entering vents, etc in the van if they are present .... open to tips / suggestions as we are really looking forward to the trip but how bad is this issue in caravan parks, towns in the areas? Thx

Carry a few camphor balls and hang a couple under the bonnet at night or while camped and a couple near doors or other entry points. Has always worked for me. You can get them in Bunnings and other
places. Just remember to take them from under the bonnet before driving off or as the engine warms the “aroma” can get quite strong. Hope that helps you and enjoy your trip away.
