Cameron's corner access from NSW

With S A shutting it's borders to NSW, even to those of us in the country, can I access Cameron's corner without entering S A for the last few kms? or, an alternative track
Thanks

Technically, you can probably get to the corner in the NSW side ok, never tried driving up that track from the gate, but it could be walked 120m or so.

Again technically, if you want to go to the corner store, it's in QLD, via about 450m of track in SA.

I'm not even up with border restrictions between QLD and NSW, but think yesterday QLD was closed to NSW great Sydney region.

It can change in a blink, which makes travel pretty risky.

Police can and are out there at times, guess now concentrating on looking for those wanting to escape these travel restrictions.

It appears that I might have to travel home to Qld from SA via the Strezlecki track to avoid both Vic and NSW

If you avoid Melbourne and Greater Sydney/Gosford and Wollongong and obtain the relevant Qld permit you should be OK.

Newell Hwy is the best route I've found, and I usually drive that way from Adelaide to Brisbane.
It's easy to pick up going north from the Hume Hwy, did it once via Seymour exit, Shepparton, Tocumwal.

Alan, I don't think there is much wrong with the Strezlecki Track, Innamincka, Thargominda, St George route if that would suit your purpose. We travel that route often without a problem.
Cheers

When we were out there last year when the borders were 'closed'. The sign in NSW said walk through the gate and along the fence to the corner post. The NSW / SA gate was unlocked but the SA / Qld gate was padlocked and the Corner Store people said they wouldn't unlock it. Good luck.
