Only about 40K of dirt I believe and the condition of the dirt can vary greatly in a matter of weeks.

What Joe said! There’s about half dozen sections of gravel left, 40-50kms, mid way between Hughenden & The Lynd.

There’s also a new phone cell, just south of Poison Creek.

Don't recall, Peter, but assumed it was Telstra?

The distance from the Lynd ( Oasis roadhouse) is 265 k roughly, so not sure where the figures come from. I assume that the Flinders shire have a different "Lynd"???

We just traveled that road a few weeks ago.
We were towing Jayco Freedom no problem.
There were three sections of about 20km unsealed.
