I feel like this is a very silly question but I have just purchased Exploreoz Traveller and cannot find how to navigate. I think this would be the most basic feature but cannot for the life of me figure it out. Have also been googling. Please help me out here ......somebody .......

Such a broad question is too big to answer here. Suggestyou read the manual which you'll find in the app via menu/manuals and about. Also
check the tutorials in the Exploroz channel in Youtube. Then come back here if you need more help.
Try tapping on a place icon, then tap the green squiggly line in the label. That will open a navigation panel. You can navigate to that place. You can a.so tap an additional place icon, tap the green line, answer Add in the dialogue. Now you have a route to the last place via the first. And so on.
That's a very brief starter that might help, hopefully.
Cheers

When we tap the green squiggly line we get a compass bearing to follow a straight line. The dropdown list to change from straight mode of navigation to something else is greyed out.

You have to be connected to the internet to get anything but straight lines

I worked it out. I had tethered my phone incorrectly. You have to have internet to get turn by turn navigation. The lack of internet was my problem.

Also best to mark a waypoint right at the start of your trip, then tap the green squiggly line, then continue adding.

Yes, certainly not a simple exercise. We had to reset the app to get the right buttons. Even so, it seems we have to add a way point for every place we want to visit. Seems a bit over the top for all the
places we may only want to visit once. I was hoping that for the money we paid I might be able to use it for every day use but I guess it is not practical for this

There must be an installation or setup issue on your device. While connected to the internet I go to search/places/address lookup, type in an address in this case in
Sydney, hit the green line, am presented with route options, select a route and go to begin navigation and the turn by turn navigation from my current position in
Canberra commences. If you want off line turn by turn navigation I think you need to create a trek. I don't use the app for turn by turn navigation but as a mapping and route/trip planning tool. For turn by turn, particularly in a large city I prefer Google maps as it is aware of traffic conditions and will route around congestion.

Hi Jannine
Could you just expand on what you are trying to do?
Without wanting to sound rude, you say you have to add a waypoint for
places you wish to visit, the App doesn’t know this, you need to tell it.
Also you wish to use it for day to day use, what type of day to day use???
Apologies if I’m missing the point.
Regards
TrevorDavid
