Hi all,
Planning a trip for end of sept and wondering if anyone has done the track from Rudall river west out thru meeting gorge to Christie’s crossing recently. Did it about 10 yrs ago and keen to go again. Cheers Tim

Hi. We were in Rudall 3 weeks ago and it was me who wrote 144343, 144406. If you manage to make it past Currun Currun Waterhole and on to Hanging Rock and Christie Crossing, I would love to hear how you managed it!! My blog will outline how overgrown the track is. The country is looking superb this year, but the track seriously needs a grader run through and I doubt that will ever happen!

Hi John,
Thanks, thought that may be the case. Last time we did it it took 9hrs to do 90km and a lot of searching to even find the track but it was a great trip and sense of accomplishment once we hit Christies. Wandered up to Running Waters to relax and a bath after.
Cheers Tim

Hi again Tim. I really want to get to Hanging Rock, so I feel like it's unfinished business at the moment. We are going back to SKull Springs for a long weekend in 2 weeks time so I might snoop around and see if I can at least make it down to Christies Crossing. We live in Broome and can be set up in Skull Springs by late afternoon - perfect. It's still cold out there in the desert, but that will soon change.
