The Horse Track and Marions Lookout Circuit - Cradle Mountain Tasmania

Hi Everyone our latest movie - One for hikers going to Cradle Mountain ! Have you ever wondered what the Horse Track is all about? Well, it is a magnificent day trek; an alternative to the Marions Lookout Track.
In our movie the hike begins at Ronny Creek walking the overland track until reaching the deviation to the the Horse Track. This is the steepest section as you ascent to the scout hut and continue until reaching the Crater Peak Lookout. Here are the most breathtaking views.
The track then continues upwards until reaching the Overland Junction plateau and Cradle Mountain . Rest time at the Cradle Mountain base unless you want to climb it (highly recommended) .The last section is to Marions Lookout ( fantastic views of Dove Lake ) and the steep descent down the chains . Note you could easily reverse the walk or add in Hansons Peak.
