Hi Everyone. I hope there is someone on here who can help me with this. I have ordered a Goldstream Wing offroad camper. I havnt got it yet. They say there is no option for a dust vent in the ceiling. Does anyone own one of these or know someone . I need to know whether dust is a problem getting in. If it is a problem are there any fixes either easy or difficult

Don't stress about it Greggy!
I have a Goldstream Vacationer III with a "dust vent" on the roof and can state that it just doesn't work.
Employed it once and filled the van up with dust. Never again.
I have such a vent on the Colorado's ARB canopy and this does work. Use it all the time when offroad, but for some reason, the caravan pressurisation vent just sucks the dust in. I don't have a problem with dust in the van anyway, without using the vent.

The one on the ute is a fair bit ahead of the dust cloud, a trailer isnt.

Yep, you got it in one.
No pressurization vent is going to work in those circumstances.

It is highly likely the airvents do work quite
well as they do on other vehicles, but with a Low height roof the airvent if fitted, as they used to have,, will be in the VACUUM envelope created by the tow vehicle and subsequently the air vent will be acting as an exhaust /exit point, instead of a positive pressure inflow. If the "Wing" roof was higher, or tow vehicle is very low height, all ok. Maybe a similar vent will do the job IF it has an extended neck intake, only extended for dust conditions so it's opening is higher than the vacuum envelope of the tow vehicle. Race cars tailgate to get a vacuum effect and their bodies are quite slim and low.
A streamer attached to the roof of van will visually reveal the vacuum effect.
