Hi
I'm looking for a reliable 4WD mechanic in
Sydney who doesn't charge the earth.
Last year I was going to Traction 4 but some of the work they did not handle the trip round Oz that I've just completed plus their costs are HUGE.
Does anyone know someone??? So far, all the recommendations I've got on this site has been spot-on. I couldn't have done the trip without it!!!!
Thanks!
Caren

try calling 98389779 ask for Jason he is part of the old trac 4 crew from years ago and has started his own workshop and from previous dealings with him have found him to very good .Trac 4 is still very good compared to some but depends on the mechanic working on the car.Good luck hope it works out for you.The high costs at trac 4 is probable because they tend to use genuine parts.hope this helps

WIll give Jason a try. Many thanks.
I always realised they used expensive parts which didn't worry me, the cost of labour was often double from other mechanics I'd been to round Australia which did worry me.
Thanks again

Hi. Try Eddie at Artarmon Automotive ... phone (02) 9439 2273). Excellent on advice. Don't charge like a wounded bull ... and often service the Vic Widman's vehicles.
