Living in
Townsville and used to heat I thought I would visit
Broome at the end of September. Should those towns be thinning out by that time?. I really don't want to push and shove in caravan parks.

Denis. I stayed at the
Cable Beach caravan park on Middleton Road about 2 years ago in July and although
Broome was busy, it wasn't uncomfortable.
Try giving them a ring and asking if they've got vacancies for when you want to go there and that will give you an idea.
When you get there, do some fishing off the jetty, it's great!

It isn't
Broome you need be concerned with - at the end of Shinju all the tourists disappear - the trouble is it has already reached 40deg in the inland and just stays that way until March (or a cyclone visits).
Broome stays at 30-32 and the nights move back into the low 20s. Just take it easy and don't rush and you will have no problems. rgds
