I would be great to have dinner somewhere like central like Lygon street. Does anyone have any suggestions where to eat and who would like to come. Where in
Melbourne can we use our Exploroz
Membership card?? See Post 14655.

I hope he is taking his thermals. You should go somewhere for a stinking hot vindaloo curry to forget what a cold miserable place
Melbourne is lol.

Not so sure the vindaloo is such a good idea...........2 possible consequences:-
(a) spend many hours indaloo afterwards
(b) end up with same problem schevenenko (sp?) talked about a few posts ago
hahahaha

Sorry, I won't get there til Friday arvo, and dinner is booked. How about a brekkie meeting Saturday. I guess David wouldn't take kindly to having his time in
Melbourne ordered for him anyway............

Of course he should take kindly to having his time arranged for him. He started this thing off, he should take some of the responsibility for people wanting to get together and share their mutual love for a dirty activity.

I am happy for you to book it. Is there
parking at Ducklands? Someone needs to say "Dinner at such and such at 6pm" and get people to post if they are going
Not sure how many people are going - we don't have baby sitters yet!

Oh bugger, I've forgotten my deslexia pills again and muddled things up still. You will have to persuade David to bring Michelle and tin lids over for the November trip to
Robe.
Please extend fraternal greetings on my behalf to the Great Sticker God.

I like your slogan about the tourist season - boy, oh gosh, I like it. Might try it tomorrow. Thinking of a
Simpson Desert get together next year, want to come to that one?

I was waiting for it! !!
But you're right - but who's going organise it?
The way I see it, is that if we try to meet outdoors (and isn't that what we'd all really like to do) its a bit touch and go during the winter rainy season. My thoughts are to leave it until October thereabouts and either:
1. Sunday BBQ at Mundaring, or in the Wandoo Cons Park, or Serpentine Dam
OR
2. Weekend camp out at Lane Pool Reserve (haven't actually been there but dying to go).
Maybe time to start a new thread on this if anyone is interested in talking about this some more...

Get together in
Melbourne fell over. I spoke to Eric Thursday arvo and he said he would ring back after the plane landed about details if anything was on, but heard nothing. Had a yarn to Des Lexic for half an hour Thursday night - he tried to crash the party via mobile phone! Just as well he didn't drive down. So a WA get together might beat us to it anyway!
I have been to two get togethers - Dimboola and Loxton and met a fine bunch of people. Was a fantastic weekend really!! The King and Queen didn't make it there though!
The South Aussie folk are a bit too nice for my liking - might have to move there!!

You're a nice person! We've had a day off and caught our breath now, so it's o.k. and Karsten has gone to the new baby
shop down south (no news yet). What, you don't have silly season in your line of work?
Nice picture - see you've admitted to three kids this time.

That's too big to be the Burke & Wills Tree! It's only a stumpy one. Sorry to hear you've had a bad day - sympathise with you. We've just had three enormous (which means bigger than ever before) weeks of it. Nice today - sitll only 12.2 degrees at 11: 43 a.m. and howling freezing (from the south snow) southerly, dusty as well - oh dear, so sorry but this is the outback and it is the desert. BUT, there's more - it is nice and sunny and if you can find a place where the wind doesn't find you (like inside) then it's verynice. I'm going to do knitting today - wouldn't want to get bored like the Feral Lupus, and I'm going to watch the races and tonight at 5:00 p.m. I'm going to watch Aust squash the Kiwifruit in the Bledisloe cup. Hope you have a better day today - shouldn't you be out with the kids at Little Football. Ian says hello to Jen (he's in the dunnies).

Hi Ruth
It is freezing here at the moment. we have the icy winds and it is so hard to keep warm..... don't tell Andrew that though.... you know how he is likely to interpret that!!
He has been with the boys at Auskick this morning, I have been shopping with Kaitlyn to buy that feathery wool for a scarf she has been hounding me to knit. So that is my job for today...
You sound as if you have been flat out.. I guess it won't let up a while yet either.
Say hi to Ian, tell him not to spend too much time in those dunnies!!
Cya
Jen
