Birdsville Inside Track Road - CLOSED indefinitely

Amasing. I have never seen it open before in the last 20 years. Clearly I don't look enough. :(

The road across to Pandie is not a gazetted road so I think you might have issues with the station. Just because it not listed as private doesn't mean it isn't

We rolled into Innamincka Oct last year to be told it was open. After doing Walkers we were told the stations dont want it open. And they have had rain up there so dont expect it open this weekend.

Walkers Crossing is open.

The council has closed it. What is the cop going to do?

They closed what?

There are 2 inside tracks on the Qld side for a small section by the lake, the west one is the original track and possibly the one the council is referring to. I am sure the Police know the details, given that the council's website is unclear.
