Gidday Strat
You might have some luck at the Cobb and Co museum in Toowomba. I'm pretty sure that they would have info on the trails. I don't know what their address or phone number is but if you have a look at the web and search
Toowoomba you might have some luck

Strat,
If you do find out, could you please post back here. My GGGrandfather is buried next to the C&C route (also a stock route) where it crossed the Barcoo east of
Windorah just off the Windorah/
Yaraka Rd. I've often thought of trying to follow it. You can still see the indentations either side and some of the ford where they crossed the Barcoo. As a matter of interest the site of McGee's shanty (of Banjo's "A bush christening" ) is just up that track too.
"On the outer Barcoo, where churches are few and men of religion are scanty, on a road never crossed 'cept by folk that are lost, Michael McGee had a shanty"
FWIW, Banjo used to travel in the coach on that route in the early 1890's for both business and pleasure around the
Winton district.
Guess who the poor bastard was who got lost... in 1885.
