Gazal caravans are I understand now out of business, however I am interested in a 2000 model 16 foot Gazal pop top in Sydney.

The van has all that I am looking for in it.

Does anybody know why Gazal went out of business and are there any bad aspects to their caravans which would put me off buying one for our "grand circle" tour in a year or so?

Thanks for any useful information,
Allan Collins

I think the went bust because they were selling them too cheap, they caused a bit of a ruckus in the industry with their pricing.

I had no complaints with the construction of my Gazal.

Wrong.
They went bust for only one reason.....
The "owner", a Middle eastern gentleman, embezzeled a lot of money and fled the country.
Real nice bloke, left a lot of people very much out of pocket.

They are generally well built, virtually the same as current Millards.
Cheers

Yes I know he did a runner but I was led to beleive it was because the company was headed under so he decided to take what's left and run but that info may be wrong.

Lots of people happy with their Gazal.
