I have been through
Beltana several times in the past but have no clear memories.

I'll stop in for a beer. Every pub deserve a go. Very rarely stay near pubs so the 6 oclock wont worry me.

I camped at
Beltana for several nights a few years back. I came away with the highest admiration for Jan and Chris, and their single-minded determination to restore
Beltana and bring it back to life. Theirs is an amazing story and their energy levels I can only wish for. They had a licence to run a bar in the community hall which also serves as the town
art gallery, which seemed pretty popular with the campers, so I guess the pub is just doing the same thing in a different location.

It sounds like a similar story to the
Betoota Hotel. I will certainly call in next time I am going past.
