Mt Disappointment this Sunday

Anyone interested in Mt Disapointment just north of MLB this Sunday. I am on my own in a standard 78 series Troopy with AT's. Nothing too extreme as the Troopy is our home from time to time.

Alternatively anyone want another vehicle in convoy with them in the North to North East of MLB on Sunday. I am an experienced and trained offroad driver and belong to 2 clubs in QLD and NZ..

seems people round here need 4 weeks notice for trips, I tried changin a date the other week, to 1 week earlier got 0 interest.

Mt D gets real greasy, would be cautious headin out there alone no matter now many eons experience you have.

Mt Dissapointment is great country and would love to get out there but need some notice coz still in Bali till Monday morning.On another note just shows the luck of where you are born.A major sevice on the fourby would keep a family going here for over 12 months.

Mt Dissapointment is an easy tootle around for a look, and best way to get up there is phone track, or go up to 5 ways, and head in any direction, the dam, spillway, and andersons garden camping area worth a visit, but stay away from the track behind the toilet block at the camp ground where phone track meets main mountain rd.
