Fiona & Paul
I deliberately pinched a Sturt Pea photo from Michelle & David's latest checking stuff out trip when I was particularly taken with one of their wide landscape campsites - I presented my Ai model with a very straightforward task and this was the result. Fiona is a serious gem hunter and multi skilled artist, my Ai models knows that, and, knows how I work - this is what Ai did ... read the image story created from thousands of images and many pages of recorded history ...

Lets lay off the AI.. the Sturt's Desert Pea is entirely pretty enough as it is.

And if you used one of my pics without my permission I would be pretty pissed off.

I did and it starts with "I deliberately pinched...."
That bit is very clear.
It seems that you are in breach of at least one other person's copyright.

I have never seen an Artificially Inseminated Desert Pea before. LOOKS AWFUL. Looks Wrong!
You simply cannot beat the ORIGINAL. Sturt would be HORRIFIED! He would be PEE'D OFF!

RMD this was a piece of creative art, not a photograph and was never meant to be, it's all in the original post.

Hi Guys,
This is amazing, it is no wonder A.I. is being used to create images that are not real, but can be made to look believable.

It does look pretty amazing but where are we going with this AI?
My current role at work includes generating reports with regards to missing/incorrect parts supplied by the client for gas/oil construction ie. sometimes critical items. One of my "Leads" is a younger engineer who asked me the other day what AI I used to generate my emails/reports. I was at a loss, I don't even understand this AI, nor how to use it. I learnt English in school (1987) and take time to generate my emails/reports adding photos and supporting documentation to build a case to prove "non-conformance/non-compliance". I put some effort into it. What are we coming to when work produced by effort is questioned with regards to its "legitimacy"?

Hi Macca
Fiona is a gem hunter, makes her own jewellery and is a artist in many disciplines, my Ai model(s) are fully aware of that, I am a professional photographer, complex database model designer, website designer and I drive use all over Oz to take in whatever is on offer - Ai knows all about me because they have free access to my files.
Ai also knows I use Google's search engine and my search history, also that I have been using Photoshop since it's beginnings when the tool was 'free', so all I had to do was ask a question and wait for the result

What does all that mean? It might be impressive to someone totally immersed in AI & computer world , but this is the REAL WORLD. Sorry, but that just means Nonsense to me!

Awful. Nature is best to its own beauty. In this case you destroyed it.
Similar to a Gouldian finch breeder that proudly showed a pure white mutation he bred !!! The Gouldian is one of nature's wonders and I sincerely hope it was euthanized it immediately.
With all due respect id consider doing the same to your creation

The
wildflowers are certainly blooming nicely up here in Millstream-Chichester NP - Sturts desert pea, mulla mulla and more.
I do prefer nature untouched - it’s already perfect.
However, I understand Paul is enjoying developing his skills in his field despite retirement he has embraced new technology and I commend him (certainly impressive knowing he is an octogenarian).
Paul has a long history with ExplorOz, very
well travelled, updated many
Places and also played a role as a
forum moderator over 15 years ago. Hence he has called me “mum” due to my many attempts to keep the “kids in line”.

What a bunch of Karens and Kens on here!!! Someone has created a piece of
artwork using new technology and suddenly everyone is horrified as though it's a crime against nature! Best you stay off your computers, mobile phones and tv,s because AI is everywhere . Seriously...you need to get a life!!!

I “get” the usefulness of Ai, but for me being not artistic at all , I’m not inclined to use this technology to even try to be!
I take photograph’s and keep the ones that turn out good, that’s about the extent of my photography . And I reckon I get some real good shots.
There was a guy on a FB motorcycling page playing around with his photo’s , enhancing colours etc. these looked fancy and I guess some liked them . But they looked fake, not real , so not my cup of tea. I think he may have got bored with it and we don’t see it anymore .
Everyone to their own thing I guess!
And an old school
forum like this is only an early version of FB , so it’s the users choice to look at / read posts. Otherwise we are able to “scroll on”.

I know little about it but Ai gathers a history of what you do to help you but it can cause you problems if your not careful and understand what it is doing. I'm wondering does it gather info off sites a person visits taking other people's information or exposing sites to 3rd parties so they can gather information as
well which may cause issues for other people as there are always leeches out there looking to take advantage of any situation that arises.
