Hi all

I'm planning to go to Phillip Island for the GP from 14th to 18th October. I will be camping at the track in a camper trailer.

Anyone else interested?

Mike

Funny you mention that, I looked into gettin back into racing, but cost far outweighs the fun factor, and if Im not competitive, I dont enjoy it! Why I gave up yrs ago. :(
although I do miss my old TZ..

License cost me $40 last time I got one, its well over hunge now. and talk of 200 next yr..

I'd want a 600, and probably the most expensive to competitve class..

No more 250 proddie class either!

There is also talk of this or next yr being the last one... Crowds have dropped to an almost non profitable level...

Even with Mr Lindsay Fox buyign up the place, doubling track hire costs, building his $123904820394820349802394803498 resort, who wants that, the charm of the island is that its pre-historic. Relaxing and relatively cheap. Put a trillion star palace on the island and its all gone.

Are they talking of cancelling it altogether or moving it to that impossible white elephant in Sydney?
