Any ideas on interesting yet sane 4wd around
Sydney
generally go in the watagans near gosford - which is superb as i can handle 80 percent plus of tracks in my truck '88 rangie and there are great picnic and
camping facilities with bbqs and
toilets all within easy reach - as
well as some real gentle tracks for the fainthearted.
Any one have any other good spots ?????????

Have you seen the Boiling Billy book on "4WD tracks around Sydney"? Some of these tracks (Yengo etc) are also featured on this site.
Haven't done any of these myself yet (always tend to go further afield) but am seriously considering Yengo for a weekend any time very soon).

Absolutely recommend this book - we've done over half the trips and they've all been
well worth while.
A couple of them can be done back to back over a weekend, and these are indicated in the book.
Comes with route maps, GPS waypoints etc - all accurate
