have a good day, however you choose to spend it....

and I'll be spending the day with my dad, and being glad I can do so as he is in such good health - now...

Nice thoughts Lyn.
Good health! - how sweet it is. I went for a hard walk and jog yesterday and could hardly get out of bed this morning, the body doesn't want to recover like it used to but I wont give in to old age, I'm too young for that. I have a small saying that middle age is about 10 years older than I am at any given time.

My son's living in Norway & is stoney broke, so I guess I'll give him a call and that'll make my day.

Enjoy your day. The greatest thing that you can give your dad, is your time.

Thanks Lyn ... all the best to Al too.

My father's day gift was a suspension upgrade for the Jack a few weeks ago, so I'm happy.

However since then, I also get two new watches (only wanted one, but the 2nd one was an absolute bargain because the jewellers we bought it at was closing down after 30 years in business). And brekkie in bed too, so I am spoilt.

I'll also be spending the day with my dad. His health isn't so great, and we really don't know how many father's days, xmas days, etc he has left. So have to make the most of it.

Savvas,

Sorry to hear your dad is not well. Enjoy him whilst you have him and don't waste a day.

I am so lucky at 42 to still have my Mum and Dad, both in good health. I cherish every day. My Old Man lost his father when he was just 24 and still hasn't got over it. My Sister in law lost her dad when she was 12. My wife's father is still alive but he is such a dog he does't have anything to do with her.

Life's a funny thing.

I spent today at a picnic with my parents, my brother and his wife and kids, and my wife and youngest son (the 19 year old was working to support his uni).

Such a simple, but wonderful day.

Cheers and the best to your dear old Dad.

Thanks Mrs Al,

I slept in and have yet to get anything from James, except for good behaviour, but then again a Tambo Off Road Camper trailer could form some sort of Fathers Day gift...and Birthday...and Christmas..hahahahahaha.

What would Al need recovery gear for, you guys wont take the 100 Series anywhere where you might get stuck....or is it to help save others...esp Patrols, Mitsibishis and Jackaroos?

Cheers and I hope Al, his Dad and your Dad all had a great day.

Hi Lyn, be careful as this post may become crap. Maybe you should use member messages to reply to members to reduce costs.

Cheers
