Dear Car Club
Winton Motor Raceway is holding the 3rd Annual Australian Historic Motor Festival on the weekend of October 2nd and 3rd. The Australian Historic Motor Festival has an interesting and diverse range of cars competing and this year will feature a Historic Grand Prix demonstration with many cars that have not been seen on Australian Race Circuits for many years.
Categories participating on track during the Festival include Historic Formula Ford, Formula Junior, Group J, K, Lb racing, Lb Sports. M & O Sports and Racing, Pre and Post War regularities, MG’s, Austin Healy’s, Group S, Group N, C & A. The event attracts historic racing cars from all over Australia and is very quickly becoming one of the most popular Historic race meetings in Australasia.
This year with support from Tourism Victoria,
Winton Motor Raceway is pleased to offer to Car Clubs a site for their members to display their vehicles. The area is being sponsored by Unique Cars Magazine and trophies will be given for the best Club display as
well as the best individual cars on display.
With the support of Unique Cars and Tourism Victoria
Winton Motor Raceway will provide participating car clubs two free weekend admission passes for each vehicle that your Club
places on display. Some Clubs have offered these Tickets to members at a small fee i.e. $5 per car as a fund raising initiative for the club and other are passing it on to there members at no costs. How you utilize these free tickets to benefit your club is up to your Club Committee.
The Unique Cars Display section judging will operate on the Sunday only, but if your Club Members wish to visit
Winton on the Saturday it would be an ideal opportunity to walk around the paddock area, our utilize the Chardonnay Club passes for the corporate pavilion where local winemakers will be offering tastings over the weekend, as
well as looking at the other vehicles participating in the event.
Also on offer for each member of the Club participating is a pass to the
