Hi all, Looking for a wrecker in
Sydney or close by , with GU's. Need a "steel" spare wheel bracket off the really early GU or the later GU. My wifes 1999 GU has a plastic moulded mount and it has a silly pin with a hole in it for securing the spare wheel, not reall suitable for a reasonable Padlock The steel mount type just has a hole in the mount and lines up with a stud hole, suitable for a decent padlock. Many thanks Michael

Try All Model 4WD Wreckers in Marigold St Revesby. I don't know if they have any GU's right now. It's a bit hard to tell from
Broken Hill, but they always used to be good.

But before you go there with your hard earned money, find out the price of a NEW item so you can compare. I went there once, never again... to get 2 windows for both front doors in my GQ and their price was $20.00 dollars cheaper than new from nissan. I would have bought them but for the fact that they both had minor scratches on them, SO i did some checking and made some calls back and
forth to nissan and these blokes in revesby for price comparisons, in some cases their price was higher than new.
Good business to be in this 4wd market. Always do your homework, sometimes it pays off.
Regards Angelo
