Hi everyone,
I am frequent visitor to the EO
forum, but I was passive reader, so I though of putting few thought here from time to time. I am also new to 4wdriving (Patrol swb), and pretty new to Australia anyway (almost 2 years – studies).
I was just browsing the new for short version of popular in Australia 4x4 cars, that are not available here and I found this interesting pictures:
Prado swb pic1, pic2, pic3,
Partol GU swb pic1, pic2, pic3 and pic4
I was thinking why there were not available in Australia, but after recent trip for few days to Innes National
Park (SA) I know why.
Hope you enjoy,
Lukasz

Hi Jeff,
I had a look at different european countries and unfortunately they aome only with 3L choice of diesel engines (the fuel prices have their share in it).
Cheers,

The slice of market, price they would have to charge makes no business sense for them to import them. Nissan boss for Aust was at a club event, and was asked about it. they looked into it, but not worth it. Price would be nearly same as LWB.

Man that stubby Patrol looks fantastic,
Yeh would be awsome with a TDI 4.2 in it.
