10 Para (Qld)
Well got the Patrol and CT on the boat on tuesday and we are off to the Land of the long white cloud again for 6 months fishing, we fly out on Friday and meet up with the rig in Christchurch we got a different boat this year about the same price $2,000 all up for both, we will spend most of the time in the South chasing the brown trout up and down the river's but will cross over at the end of March and spend a couple of months in the north this year.
Changed a few things on the Patrol from the trip across Aussie as in NZ we seem to do longer camps up to 3 weeks in anyone place and less driving, we find it quite relaxing instead of all that heavy driving you have time to explore the place, intend doing some trips with the locals this year.
Well se yu all when we get back.

Get yourself out to Glenorchie. We don't fish but when we were there there was a Scot who was beside himself with glee at the trout fishing.
NZ is a great place!

You lucky bugger!!!
You just gotta visit the North Island 'cause that's where the mecca for Trout Fishermen is.
The TONGARERO river is at the southern end of Lake Taupo and is the place to go.
Seriously, anywhere in NZ is fantastic for a holiday, but SIX MONTHS!!!!
Good on you Para. I'm sure you a going to have a great adventure.
I'm GREEN!!!
