Might drive over there myself if you find a good one - I'm now sworn off the thieving liars that pass themselves off as service department managers here in SA. I don't mind people finding opportunity in the market place but I feel like burning these lying service types, these insurance company liars and anyone else who systematically tries to screw people with outright deception ! I'm looking for just the thing here in SA - a good all round diesel service set-up.

Just found out the local Holden dealer charges $110.00 per hour for labour. I can get a brain surgeon to work for less.
They will not be getting that off me..
Try ATOC in Belgrave.....most people in the Nissan club swear by their service...

Total 4wd Center in Epping.
Dont go past them..
Rod McCormack is a competitor in Vic Winch Challenges, Tuff Truck Challenge, sponsors numerous trucks in OBC, and other events...
Rod knows his trucks very
well. He has done much of the work on my GQ, and I live down Cranbourne way, I'll travel to him without hesitation.

Good diesel mechanics are few and far between.
I took advice from a 4WD magazine ad and went to a small trendy country town to have my 80 series 'cruiser serviced. She was running fine when I dropped her off but I thought she needed a checkup with 130,000 kays on her.
Got her back and she wasn't happy, lacking in power, missing as though she had a dead plug (he replaced one injector out of the 6). She wasn't happy and so neither was I.
Hit the hip pocket nerve real hard though.
Went to a fella in a satellite suburb of
Sydney and he was 100% better. Did a great job on he big-end bearings but couldn't work out why she was lacking power. Says it's the gearbox. Goes to the auto
shop who has enough savvy about diesel auto's and I'm told the fuel pump is the problem. Hang on, but I paid for that to be done at the trendy country town....(won't go back to him on principle - spent enough there already).
End up going to a proper gentleman who runs Gemini Diesel in Carlton,
Sydney. Excellent work, fixed a lot of mistakes which the first bloke made and this gentleman didn't charge like a bull at the running of the bulls in Spain.
Highly reccommend Gemini Diesel. Give Bob Kentwell a call.
