Chappo
Autotap is a US based software package for engine diagnostics.
It would appear that all cars/trucks sold in the US must confrom to a standard.
This software uses this standard. It is publicly available for a price.
A lot of the "young" guys who trick up their cars use this software to diagnose their engines.

Well bugger me Wim.
I have just mentioned in another post, something along the lines of "if only this type of diagnostic device comes down in price". (TEK2)
Now you have come up with this gem.
'Tis worth a look for all the home mechanics amoungst us. About $200.00 for a laptop based solution. (assuming you've already got a laptop that is.)
