Anyone out there had experience with the $68 shocks or $48 disc pads (pair) from Jackworld?
Rob.

Probably not two of the best items to skimp on.
Just my opinion. If they are any good, go for it.

I think the old adage, you get what you pay for, may speak loudly here.
If you intend to use off-road, you need to ask yourself why are they so cheap - can only be in the manufacture of them.
Cheaper now can often mean more expensive later especially, if you have a failure on tour.
Just my 10 cents worth.

Rob,
I thought about it, but I didn't. The shocks and brakes they sell might be ok, but there was no info on it anywhere and all seems to be "no name".
Shocks I went OME Nitrochargers, for brake pads I went with Bendix 4WD AFM pads.

Oh sorry I mis read your post name.
I thought u said Jackworld is a shocker.
And i thought.........yes how true is that.
Probably the biggest blood sucking, worst service, organisation I have ever had the misfortune to try and deal with.

Any particular reason TopCat? Does your experience relate to their products or their service or both?

I wasnt actually able to purchase any products as i couldnt get any service.
I wanted to discuss with them the various options engine wise for my Jack and also a heap of other stuff..........I figured I was gunna be spending anything up to 10 grand over the next couple of years on my project.
They made it very clear they would charge for any discussion that was had........from memory 15 bucks per quarter hour.
How am I supposed to determine which way to bounce???
Well Im not paying 60 bucks an hour for a service that should be free so as far as im concerned I will never ever spend a cent with the blood sucking leeches.
I sent them an email stating my point of view and asking them to inform me if I had it wrong..........they didnt.
I seriously feel that they should be reported to fair trading to be perefectly honest.
Anyways thats my story.
Hope u have better luck.

Their response to my initial enquiry was a little slow, but they've responded quickly to follow up questions about products and prices. The payment method seems a little strange - purchaser deposits the appropriate amount (including freight) in their bank account and they then send the items through the post. Any other comments from those who've purchased and used Jackeroo World products?
Rob.

I would be making it VERY clear that you wish to pay by credit card, as this then gives the opportunity to have the payment refunded if there is a dispute. The method of payment they are using does not allow easy resolution of disputes.
The other question is why is it that they, as a company, do not use credit cards?? Could it be they are trying to do a shonky fly-by-night exercise, or they have been refused access to credit card facilities?? (neither of these is a good look...)
I don't know them as a company, but sounds WAY too fishy, stay
well clear.

Might be interesting to see what others
views were on the subject.
I found a phone number for them on there web site but after calling it I could only ever get to press buttons and listen to how much they were going to charge me for any info i wanted.
Calling from
Sydney to a Vic number it cost a small fortune as it was.
I was far from impressed.
On there web site they also make it quite clear they charge for any info provided.
I honestly dont know how they make any doe when people like me can not actrually discuss stuff with them.
Guess there are a lot of dumb people arround.
Cheers.
