Has anyone camped at
Nymboida River? I'm thinking of taking the family there between christmas and new year. Is it likely to busy this time of year? any other suggestions of
places to
camp around Coffs?

We have in the Nymboi-Binderay National
Park at
Platypus Flat. Access is easy from
Dorrigo. Nice grassy, fairly flat areas for
camping right beside the river. Can be crowded in school holidays we understand from the
ranger. There are fire
places and some wood supplied. Can fish and raft on the river.
Toilet facilities OK. No showers. There was no one there when we were there in May this year. Used the ol' Twine shower out in the open in the buff. Not a pretty sight.
