Can anyone tell me if you can stay over night. We will be on bike with no camping gear. Found it to heavy last time I went. Am trying not to do big a days as I will have my 11 year old son on the back of my bike. Did it two years ago with my other son on the back.He was 11.

The homestead at Bollards Lagoon offers B&B but, based on our experience in October they won't mind you camping off the track as long as you do the right thing.
We camped well off the track in October and, on passing the homestead, stopped in to pay the $5 (I think) track-maintenance-contribution and the lady of the house didn't mind us having camped at all. Disappointingly she said some people objected to paying the track usage fee - I suppose some 4by users expect the station owners to maintain it with no contribuion by us 4by users. It's an amazing world.

Check out the Bore track Trek Notes-

"Donga" style accomodation is pretty basic but very welcome after a hard ride.
Cottage is more comfortable but expensive.
