Has anyone recently taken this trek from Alice down to Mt Dare. It looks interesting in the books, but I would like to hear from someone who may have done it, to know what the conditions are like etc.

We did it in september last year no problem easy formed dirt roads.Cheers Rob

Daisy, Did the section from Alice down to Old
Andado about four weeks ago. So bad bullldust patches, but by passes on most of these. Keep your speed down and you'll be fine. We went on to do Madigan's Line (A Hema Maps survey) so we don't know what the other bit is like.
