Gronk
saw on a post from Jeff (Beddo) about a
camp spot called Big Yango 30 mins past Finchley? Is that on the track from Finchley to
Putty road, and is it suitable for a camper trailer?

Yes great place to
camp and camper trailer is fine to take there you'll need to ring NPWS at Gosford for a
gate key.

Gronk, great for camper trailers and can also get the off road c'vans in there. It is past Finchley on the way to the
Putty Rd. As Baz said you need a key (controlled access) - allow 2 weeks to get the key to you as it goes via gov't post then Aust post ??? Don't ask me but it is a slow, takes about 4 days longer than expected. You can get it quicker if you pick the key up from the Gosford NPWS office during week days between 8:30 & 4:30 (Cnr
Albany Ave & Donnison St - behind Marketplace Shopping centre). Big Yango also has a
homestead you can rent out and the
campground is called Blue Gums which has a composting loo, you also have the option to
camp away remotely away from the
camp ground if you wish. Not many people know about this place yet so some times you can have the old cattle property in the middle of Yengo NP to yourself.
