Fitter & turner needed

I am in need of a fitter and turner in Melbourne , so i thought i would try here first. Basicly i need him to turn up some alloy body blocks for the cruiser .

Have you spoken to Big Al? Isn't he a fitter and turner? He is also a qualified welder as well. Jack of all trades you could say.

aah sorry mate, can't help you but your topic as read, brought a smile.

That's a term we used to use for the (incompetent) camp cook: they could FIT it in a pot and TURN it into shiiit, hence fitter and turner.

Eric, is there anything special about the shape of the alloy blocks? Are they just a disc with a hole drilled in the centre?
We've got a lathe at work if it's just a simple turning job, I'm not a fitter but a boilermaker/specialist tig welder if that helps.
Our factory is in Carrum Downs if that helps.

I had photos of some of his work here, I'll get some more.
His last few IC's for the ricers and his own alloy Radiator are works of art... Very good.

fit some fit food into a pot and turn it into S#&t .

dont miss the defence much lol

why dont you jus get so,me from the outerlimits for sale section they can include bolts too!

Hi eric, i am a fitter and turner who also runs an engineering workshop from home with all the gear needed to do your job. i am, however, in sydney but if u like u can fax me a sketch, ill give you a figure and can courier/post them to you as soon as there done. Be glad to help if i can.

I bought mine from caparal ally in dande, they sell different diameter alloy and will cut to length too.
