Hi Skip,
Ijust went back to your early post and questions.
I'm one of the guy's who removed the OME setup due to it being to much of a pogo stick experience and hitting bump stops.

I went with GO OFF ROAD'S set up and I'm extremely happy with the way it soaks up
bumps and handles.

To dump the OME when it was not one year old was expensive, but the end result was definately worth it.
Regards
Joe

And I gotta say - only a couple of hundred dollars more, but a huge difference, and now, every time I would have hit the bumpstop, just that little smile from ear to ear!! ;-)

Yep, I'll second that. I test drove the Joe's car and the suspension
feels smother compared to OME one and doesn't roll on the corners as the original one did. The best suspension for the Prado I have seen so far. Getting my 2"
with GO_OFFROAD setup done just before Easter.

We use Bilstien shocks, valved specifically, and Lovells springs to suit the load requirements of each individual customer and their set up.

We are in Victoria [Geelong] and can freight the set up ready for fitment anywhere in Aus [and abroad if req] and have resellers in S.A and NSW who can also fit and align to our specs, as the wheel alignment needs to differ from factory specs for better handling, and tyre wear.

The Bilstiens use velocity controlled valving, so the ride is pleasant loaded, unloaded, fast, hwy, or slow 4wding.

I am happy to dicuss our set up with anyone interested, you can email me darrenm@bigpond.net.au or 0409 513 549

Skip,

He is located in Geelong, Victoria and it is uses
Bilstien Shocks/Struts and Lovells springs setup.

I know at least one person in Sydney who is getting this setup as well
- shipped and then installed by local guys.

I would recommend that you at least test drive a car with this setup first before you make any decisions regarding suspension. As saying goes
the picture tells more than thousand words and it is also applies here
